A number of us (hopefully me included!) will be receiving financial aid notifications from Harvard.

MIT is rumored to release its decisions.

The Penn admin assistant informed everyone decisions should have been made on Friday and will be released tomorrow.

I hope everyone gets good news tomorrow![bounce]

Klimano....

Have you heard officially from Columbia yet? I saw on whogotin that someone had received an acceptance email. Just wondering what you've heard from them....

Thanks.

Cliff...Congrats on your funding!

I got my acceptance letter last Friday (March 11th).

Has anyone, (besides klimano - congrats on everything by the way), heard from Georgetown yet? I see some whogotin postings, but not that many

anybody apply out there and get a reject or acceptance?

just wondering

ps - NYU has a very inefficient process for an econ department

Nothing from Georgetown for me (I'm domestic). My friend called them last Friday and they said that acceptances have been sent out, so if you've heard nothing, you are most likely waitlisted or rejected.

Question: Why is MIT sleeping??? Is this part of their strategy or smt? How do they expect to attract candidates that have already engaged in communication with faculty/staff of other big-five universities? Just wondering ... why is MIT the only top20 school that has not released its first round of admits yet (together with UPenn I think)? Are they waiting for NSF to announce the awards?

If you're asking why there have been no acceptances, in fact MIT has already made some offers - I know of 2 from quite a few days ago. One of my friends was in fact waitlisted for funding, so I would assume they have made a substantial number of offers.
