U of Toronto is sending out accepts for MA - econ (regular)
Gsteria, I posted here so you know they have started, good luck man...

Thank you so much for starting this thread! (Although you almost gave me a heart attack!)  aclax2k, how, when did you get your admit news ?????????????????? what are your plans after the MA? (work or PhD ?) (please remind me) "Econ" people, please comment! Which do you think is harder to get in: LSE MSc Economics or U of Toronto MA Economics ????????????????? (I would trade my admits at LSE MS Econ, UBC MA Econ and UPF MSc Econ for an admit from U of Toronto. I want so much to go!)

well, I applied to non-doctoral stream, but if you wanted to trade admits, I am all for it...
As per my experience, I think you should be a very good bet to get into at least the regular program if you get into LSE, but again, who knows... I am probably not going to do a Phd, I want to either to law and econ, or consulting...not sure, but not a prof. I heard via email tonight. |

I asked for the status of my application and they told me "We have begun notifying applicants of our decisions. However, no decision has yet been made on your application."
 any ideas? is it a bad sign? (like "waitlisted"?)

I think it can mean:
1) That the Doctoral Stream has different admission process or 2) That I'm waitlisted in the MA Doctoral Stream or 3) That I'm waitlisted in the regular MA because I'm rejected from the Doctoral Stream  I hope for 1. I'm not sure how much I want to enroll in a school that wailisted me. You?
