Question Admitted to RICE, UNIV. OF PENNSYLVANIA, UT-Austin help me decide!
Guys I am EE with interests in Nanotechnology and Solid State. I got admits from Rice, UT-Austin, and Univ. of Pennsylvania, all to the PhD with full support. I cant decide where to go. What do you Think? PLEASE HELP!!

I am from Dallas and have been to all these places execpt for Austin. Which has the better program in Nanotech? Which is more prestigious? Better success for alumni?

I am leaning toward either Rice or Austin...I think they are better in Engineering than Penn.

Please Vote and tell me why you voted for the school....I NEED HELP!!!

Voted for pennsylvania because of it being an IVY....
but i dunno.....Austin might be a better option...

Congrats Emman0101. Please dont decide about ur future based on people voting on their guesses. Think about it and talk to the people who hav good knowledge in your area.
As far as the reputation goes, I think UT Austin is cool.

well....i'd go wt UT Austin.....however....u can try a specialized search regarding univ. rankings for EE....u might be able to get info. abt students admitted last yr. for the same prog on their website...and can than compare both....so good luck!

I'd undoubtedly take UT-Austin and wouldn't even think about the rest.
