In at Univ of Iowa...plz help
hi all ..
just got an admit email 4m the Univ Of Iowa for MS(CS) (without any aid)...they'll be sending the i-20 soon.this is my 5th admit...im totally confused...infact really sad after seeing this tht i didnt apply to higher ranked univs.. my admits: Syracuse(40% tuition grant) Univ of Texas at dallas SUNY Stony Brook NCSU UIowa still waiting for a few others (TAMU and USC being the higher ranked of the lot) any kinda help or suggestion wud b really appreciated. thnx vipin *i m interested in Computer N/ws and wud ideally want 2 go 2 a place near New Jersey(although thts only a small preference) |

I don't think he was "putting down" those universities, but rather saying that if you did want higher-ranked universities, you could wait until next year. Of course, I personally would not want to wait a year, but it's your decision.
My problem with these is that it looks like only one, Syracuse has provided any sort of aid. Is this the case?? Have you planned to fund your own graduate education?? Just curious as to your situation so I can better lend some advice.
