Hi guys I have recently got my CS admissions from U.Rochester and U.Virginia. I've also got the ECE admission from Purdue U. All the three provide full financial aids.

However, since they are quite different schools, for example, UR is a small, private one while UVa, Purdue are big, public ones, I'm not sure which one to attend.

So could you guys give me some suggestions? Thanks a lot!!

Hello lightwhite,

You haven't mentioned your area of interest. If it's EE related (example: comnets etc.), Purdue would be the best bet. Another plus is that it's the most reputed of the three. You haven't mentioned your intended degree as well.

Thanks to gforce!

I was admitted to phd programs in all the three schools. And the specialty should be system in UR and UVa, and as to Purdue, it's computer engineering.

I also think purdue may be the best choice

. Anyway, more suggestions @ comments welcomed!

I think Purdue is the best choice. UR has an excellent program in optics. Since your a Comp Eng guy, Purdue is your best options.

Congrats on ur admits. Can u please post ur profile? I have also applied to University of Virginia. Unfortunately, I have got a rejection from the university and the university will not tell me the reason for their decision.

Go ahead with Purdue. Even I've been admitted to Purdue as well as UVa. But UVa isn't as reputed as Purdue.
