No, those are the only 2 univ left in my list as well for MS-CS.

My friend has been admitted to the MS-CS program at UMN-TC. He got the unofficial news two weeks back.

I got a letter in a small envelope from OSU some time last week saying I was accepted to the MS CS program, so at least some acceptances have gone out. I have a couple of other options I prefer, so I immediately responded that I won't be attending. Not sure how they do admissions... maybe that means a spot will open up. In any case, good luck to everyone waiting.

Oh, I almost forgot... I also found out that they don't have nearly the funding that they anticipated, so I'm guessing there won't be much aid available for MS students (I know they didn't offer me any)... sorry for the bad news about that... consider yourself warned.

I mailed the CS dept and they told me that all MS offers with support have been made via e-mail and that the offers without support will be finalized by this week end.

Is this at UMN or Ohio State?

hey all,

I have apped to UMN-TC for a PHD in CS but havent heard about my decision from them, and all my queries are falling on blind eyes...(sorry couldnt say deaf ears cause I was emailing them my inquiries

)
I hope that they give good decisions real soon ....

oops...forgot to mention the univ. The reply I mentioned was from Ohio State..we could expect non-funded admits to be declared by this week end.

I also read in some place that UMN is going to send out first list of TA offers in mid of next week. Hopefully more admits also may be announced at that time.

I got my ta offer from UMN cs phd about a month ago, I know a couple of others that got it too.
