mosfro
So after applying to 20 something schools, I got lucky and got admitted to 3, maybe 4, but I have narrowed it down to 2 schools, I am pretty sure I am going to go with Michigan State, (free tuition, 12k for school year) and Texas A&M (stated differently but free tution 13.5k/school year) I don’t have to TA over the summer, but I could, (both are Taships) I am thinking about doing development econ, or econometrics – I know neither of these universities are great enough to get a GREAT academic job, but I plan to bust my butt Any thoughts magicians? Quas
First of all, CONGRATULATIONS! Second, take care about Texas A&M financial offer. I was also accepted there with financial aid but when I got to talked to the guys in there, they say you can't really geta waiver when you are international (maybe you';re not  )... get to know very carefully their offer to avoid future surprises. As for the schools, Michigan State seems better in both fields (based on current rankings)...
reactor
I would choose Michigan State, I am not so fond of Texas. :) CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!
cliff23
Especially if you're into econometrics, I would pick MSU (Woolridge is there). I've never heard anything about Texas A&M, so I don't know anything about it. Good luck, and congrats on your offers! :)
