UCSD Reject
Haha...just got the following e-mail from UCSD. Apparently, I am not qualified for admission into ECE at UCSD. Ah well...u win some, u lose some.


Your application for graduate study in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) program, at the University of California, San Diego has been carefully reviewed. We regret to inform you that you have not been selected for admission.

A number of factors are considered in evaluating each applicant. Unfortunately, we are only able to extend offers to a limited number of qualified applicants.

Thank you for your interest in the University of California, San Diego. An official letter has been posted on the application status page of your UCSD application at http://graduateapp.ucsd.edu. I wish you the best in all your endeavors.

Tanusree...thks for the comments. Yeah.....i'm not really bothered by the rejection 'coz i will be going to Stanford this Fall. But to think that UCSD thinks i am 'unworthy' while Stanford EE welcomes me (with funding nonetheless)....that is something i find hard to swallow....

They probably took a look at your record and said "well this guy is gonna get admitted to better places and not come here, so lets not debase our selves and reject him" .
