lovableabhi Posted November 9, 2005 Share Posted November 9, 2005 hi people i took my GRE test recently n scored 1380(Q760:eek: 620V) AWA 4.5 toefl range is 237-280..no research papers.. doin bachelors in electonics.. intented ms in computer engineering(mobile communication)..two summer trainings at hutch telecomm. and tata technologies ltd. i m applyin in georgia tech ncsu psu msu uni. of illinois chicago uni. of cincinnati SUNY buffalo please comment on these n suggest 1-2 more uni. in medium range acc. to my score.. thnks in advance...;) best regards abhishek Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
manwiththemission2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Share Posted November 9, 2005 uic is on the decline in comp engg. but you could take it as a safe bet. cincinnati and suny.. yes aid chances r high but they r ordinary univ.. you jus cant come to a conclusion whether you will get aid in a univ.. or you get admit in an univ.. it depends on a lot of factors 1. As rightly pointed out by MWM2005, your GRE score is just one factor. Your undergraduate GPA and your undergraduate institution plays a very important role. At last, it all boils down to how well you fit into their graduate program. As suggested by MWM2005, try to make your SoP a killer one. Best of luck for your admissions!
