Hello, everybody!! One of my hardest working students and one with whom I've worked for from the beginning of TestMagic has reached his lifelong dream of studying at Harvard!! We just got the email a couple of nights ago. Needless to say, we've had several nights of celebration.
Hok-ming is a (needless to say) very bright young student from Hong Kong. He came to the US after finishing Form 6 in HK with one goal in mind--to get into a great math program. He has been studying here in SF at USF and has given his best at that school, but the time has come for him to meet his destiny at Harvard. Hok-ming is a great guy and has seemingly unlimited potential. I am so happy for him, and want to congratulate him here, now, both to show my pride for him and to show all of you out there that you can indeed reach your dreams. I know, from reading your posts and from working with some of you here in San Francisco, that many of you have similar potential. ![]() Hok-ming, your success embodies the success of which we are all capable. Congratulations! Erin |

It's kind of boring during the middle of the summer, especially when you are waiting your visa to be issued.
But thanks all for your concerns and wonders... AND I should THANK Erin particularly for his enormous help in all the language problems and admission stuff I encounter. THANK YOU!!! Harvard actually fulfills 97% of their students' financial aid when they need it (if I recall). So the school almost always help you financially when you do need it. hope that helps. |

Hey, hok-ming!! Nice to see you here!
So HK is boring right now? I thought you'd be having a good time. And I know you're waiting anxiously for your visa to be issued. It's kind of a terrible time right now for many people all over the world, people who want to come to the US to study. I don't like this time in the US, to be honest. I hope things can get back to normal soon. Quote:
