Hey friends,

I know this question will be sort of stupid but I need to ask. I am really sorry for bothering you for this. I have seen at thegradcafe that somebody could learn a rejection for the U. of Maryland Economics PhD through their website. I am looking at the website but cannot see anything about the admission results. I am calling the school but nobody answers. Is the post at thegradcafe misleading? Did any of you receive any news from the U. of Maryland?

Click on application status and then enter your student id/SSN and pin , mine still says "Pending" though.

Maybe we don't hear any rejections from U.of Maryland?

I checked it - it says "pedning decision" and - yes I received admission letter from the department (chemistry). My gf status is also "pending", but she haven't heard a word

I'm also waiting to hear back from UMD. I wonder how often they actually update these status sites. I was admitted to Georgia Tech a couple of days ago but its website still shows decision pending right now, so I'd say email is still the fastest way to find out.
