MS+MBA Vs MS-PhD

hi guys ,
i had the opinion that MS from a gud univ and after having workex of 2-3 yaers its the best to do MBA and move on . But many people say that in US the Phd is more gud option , as regards the job prospects and job satisfaction also
how many of you agree with this !!!
Moreover in my case .. i m having admits from UPenn and UCLA .so what u think which is better
1. UPENN ( MS+PhD ,, phd from upenn as it has got excellent research as compared to ucla in materials sciences )
2. MS from UCLA and later on MBA frm some gud school say within top 10 .

So please tell me which of the above options i.e. Upenn route or UCLA route you all consider is better . I m thinking to move o UCLA Route !!
