ECE PhD, Northeastern: REJECTED

This should be on bumper stickers:

"You Know You Are Not Very Good When Your Safe School Rejects You"

Then again, as shoaibakram kept telling me, don't let its low rankings and its high admit rate fool you, since they are a very small department... litle consolation that is though... the fact remains that one of my safe schools rejected me...

Actually after the Penn State admit this was a touch amusing... we had a quick laugh about it...

you still have quite a few decisions pending no, the wait must be irritating!

I have been rejected like you for PHD in ECE at NEU

I had many international publications and

before applying , I emailed to a faculty in NEU
and he enthusiastically encouraged me to apply

but he rejected me with this excuse :
my fund is only for U.S citizens !!!
