Hello ,

I am still waiting for decisions from 2 of the places , but I am running short of time and realy need to book a date for the visa. Do you think it is possible to switch schools after you have already got visa for a particular university.

No you cant. However if you have not yet taken your VISA interview, then you can change it before the interview. But once you have got VISA, you cant change it. You have to apply for a new VISA all over again. Hope this helps.

Perhaps you can apply for a visitor's Visa (for tourism) and later get the student's Visa. That way you can at least enter the US and attend your program. I'm not sure however how/if it works.

I already have the B1/B2 visa and will be travelling to US for some official work .

About the change ....Is it a new rule which has come into place with the VFS.....because I remember lots of poeple did it before.

Hey Guys.. can u tell me more abt this takin of a tourist visa and entering the US and then getting it converted to an F-1!!!! Is tht really possible..coz i knew..it isn't!! Plzzz..tell me if it is so..wud be delighting yaa!!
