Univ of Iowa or Indiana-Bloomington

Hello,

I have got admit to Univ of Iowa's MCS program which does not include thesis without any aid.

Admit in IUB for MS with thesis with 2000 USD aid.

Both have research in Databases and I one professor from each college have shown interest in my work when I communicated them over mail.

Now which one do you suggest from funding point of view? Social life of Iowa seems to be better but IUB campus is awesome. They are both ranked with similar points in US News.

I have talked to some seniors in Iowa, they fully fund PhD and I plan to move to PhD after one year (provided ofcourse I do well in the 1st year and they let me in). I have not talked to any IUB seniors but I plan to do that. How is the funding scene in IUB?

Also, howz the social life in IUB?
