Hi Jackal,
I can't tell you how tough or easy it is to get in to the USC but i do agree with the fact that USC has a high acceptance rate.USC has a very high rank for CS (it's 13 or so all over US) but it is very costly.I had got admission acceptance from there and my credentials were as follows: gre score 1410/1600 4.0AWA and some really good letters of recommendation. My Percentage was 80 aggregate of all the four undergrad years. I could not join USC due to some visa transfer problem so right now I am studying in Florida Tech. I hope this helps you. Good Luck |

Thanks for the reply gupta. I did my undergrad in EE at a top 10 university here in the US. But my main reason for applying to USC MS in EE program is research and not to mention the faculty some of whom have a similar research interest as mine. Since i plan on getting a Phd, i have to pick schools where the research work being done is what i'm interested in. At this moment my paper for a conference is under review and i hope its accepted. Thanks a lot for the reply. Although sad to hear that u will not attend USC. Maybe u could transfer later on.
