In at Umich, Ann Arbor !!
Hi all. Got a call from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor for their MS (Industrial & Operations Engineering) program for the Fall '07 term. The year so far has been really good to me and I would like to thank all you people here for all the help with the test prep and the admission queries. I also got a call from TAMU for their MS (IE) program. My profile would be something like this:
GRE : 1290 (V490, Q800, AWA 4.5) TOEFL : 290, TWE 6.0 Acads: BE (Mech.) with 80 % so far from India. Recos : 1 great & 2 moderate. Training: 2 months internship at Bharat Forge Ltd,. India and 2 weeks in-plant training from Ashok Leyland, India. No major papers, activities as such. Any queries, I shall be glad to answer as its the least I can pay back to this wonderful forum.  Thank you all !!

Yes, I have been offered admission into TAMU, and No, there is no interview for my program i.e M.S in Industrial Engg. In case you have applied to the PhD. program or some program in the Life Sciences, there are chances you might have the interview requirement.

Was browsing TM after a very long time and decided to look how you all were doing...

hey there
concgratulations for U of Michigan.I am also applying there but for the Master program in Economics.I still don't have a word from them.I already have one admit,so this released my nervousness,but I am curious to know about Ann Arbor.Anybody has any news from Master in Economics program?Thanks and good luck to everyone! |
