Got into UPenn!
Got an offer from UPenn for MS in computer graphics and gaming - my first admit
, no financial assistance though.GRE: V- 630, Q- 800, Writing- 5.5/6 Subject GRE : 810 (82%) GPA : ~3.7 (top 5% in class) How do you folks rate the UPenn graduate program? Does no financial assistance imply no TA/RA as well or may I apply for those later? |

All Upenn grad schools have been overshadow by its rich sibling Wharton. However, Penn law and medical schools are great schools.
Engineering does need some overhaul to get it to be in par with some great public programs such as Berkerley, UCLA and Michigan. On the other hands, comparing to all other ivies, Penn is a little above average. Cornell seems to fare a bit better than the rest. I think you can apply for TR/RA later in the second semester or second year. BTW, if you do go, living off campus at center city might be a lot more fun than on campus housing. |
