1st Rejection at EPFL

Hello all,
Just few hours ago, I got my first response which is negative. I applied at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology - Luisanne (EPFL) for theirDoctoral Program in Computer, Communication and Information Sciences. They informed me by email. Here is their response:

Thank you for your interest in the EPFL Doctoral Program in Computer, Communication and Information Sciences.

We regret to inform you that after careful consideration of your application, we have decided not to award you a place to study at EPFL. We were obliged to apply strict criteria in comparing the many excellent applications we received, and have unfortunately had to decline some very good candidates.


We thank you for your understanding and wish you all the best for your future studies and career.

I really shocked after seeing their response as my academic record was pretty good and GRE score was not required. But this is the fact, I've to accept it though it hurts.

Please pray for me for my other applications.
