I have been a regular visitor to this forum and have been helped in many ways -especially with my GRE.This is my first post after they accepted me at MIT (Yeaaaaaa!)
Willing to answer any questions that people have.

No, I did not contact any of the professors. I did pay the school a visit and talked to the students.

That does re-inforce what I read elsewhere that contacting the professors really doesn't matter.

I want to apply to MIT after i graduate from Univ,but i'm very worry
What is the most important factor??GPA,Toefl,GRE,scientific research,social activities,etc..

I definitely think they look to fit your prior research experience into one of their research groups. Try visiting the department you are interested in and talk to the groups. That helps a lot.
Frankly, social activities/TOEFL/GRE give no indications of research potential. They probably matter the least.
