Hi friends
I got an offer for a PhD place at Brown and got invited to visit its campus in April. I am not sure whether this visit will be kind of an informal interview. If yes, then what should I prepare for it? Is Anyone currently at Brown or an alumnus that can help me with this? |

If you have an acceptace/fellowship offer, then the interview is just to let you know the program (i.e. they really want you). no matter how an interview goes, you have this offer.
if they just offered you the invitation to visit, then the interview will form part of their review to decide whether to accept you or not. |

Thanks all for your kind words.
I agree this is an awesome forum and I tip my hat off to Erin and others working to keep it running. I got to know this just recently and did not make a lot use of it, really but I wish I had known much earlier. Another TM fan! |
