As you can see, the forum is now running the latest version of the software, which has a number of added features, including blogs, social groups, friending, and more.

I still need to re-add a lot of things, tweak the graphics, change the logo, etc., but since there were a lot of things still left broken after the great outage from a couple of weeks ago, I decided to perform the complete upgrade now, hoping that I'd solve more problems than I created by upgrading.

If you encounter any problems, please let me know. I hope you'll enjoy the new features. Please let me know your thoughts. :)

Hi Erin. Thanks for the upgrade :D The link to the user control panel seems to have disappeared though -- it used to be between "My profile" and "Log out" at the top right of each page, but now it's not. The control panel is still accessible by typing in the URL (http://www.www.urch.com/forums/usercp.php) into the browser, but it would be nice to have the link back.

A smaller issue is that the current page number is no longer highlighted in the list of page numbers at the bottom of multi-page threads.

Hi, asquare. I noticed that, too, after upgrading. That's kind of weird. Worse, I don't see any links under the other menus. I'll look into it.

And you may notice the ubiquitous Facebook like buttons now. Just hadda do it.

Just so everyone knows, I'll be making some minor changes to the look of the forum over the course of the next few days, weeks, months... years... :D

My first goal is just to lighten things up a bit by adding some color. I really don't like some of the drab colors of the default forum.

Just noticed that URLs (at least the ones that point to forum threads) aren't working properly. Example:

http://www.www.urch.com/forums/test-forum/1532-smiley-traffic-light.html

goes to:

http://www.www.urch.com/forums/!1532!http://www.www.urch.com/forums/test-forum/1532-smiley-traffic-light.html

I'm looking into this. Hopefully it'll be an easy fix.
