Well, I've got to make a big decision. Does it matter what domain we run these forums under? For a long time, the domain has been www.testmagic.com, but now it's www.urch.com.

I think that it doesn't matter, but I know that the TestMagic name has some cachet in the world of Internet users. I also know that www.urch.com is a lot easier to remember.

I'm inclined to shift everything back to testmagic.com, but I just thought I'd ask our regulars what they thought.

(Please give feedback--this one's important.)

I would like to vote for a shift back to www.testmagic.com

Logically there is no strong reason to bother shifting, however, as an oldtimer, I'm attached to the testmagic.com domain and would like to see the forums return home.

I am relatively new to TM. it was www.urch.com when i came, and yes, it is easy to type too. but i dont think being easier to type or remember is a problem at all. TM forum is my homepage anyway and its the first thing i see when i open IE. so even i would like the forums go back to www.testmagic.com, it is always nice to have it like that and also it makes it easier for new people to locate TM.

Yes. I would like you to switch it back to www.testmagic.com . As suja said, it's pretty easy to find out the location of our forum and it is apt to the name of the forum too. Btw, what is urch??

MWTM - Even in my username, TM is there.......I would like to have it back ..hehe

Yeh i would say testmagic too ...no concrete reasons for saying that apart from sentimental reasons

But something tells me you would shift it to testmagic.com anyways, whatever our views are

I will also vote for tesmagic.com

There is no particular reason. I have been telling a lot of my friends about this site and its easier for them to remember it as testmagic.com rather than urch.com!

Well it does matter.
I would vote for shifting back www.testmagic.com domain.
testmagic.com infact is more easier to remember for newbies and one can
more easly relate to testmagic.com than to urch.com.

-Do consider that we don't face the bandwidth problems again that led to shifting of the forums to urch.com .

Why is urch easier to remember?

Anyway,I'd prefer the name TM but that all depends on your decision,Erin.If you face some unmanageable problems shifting everything back to the old domain,just keep everything as it is now.We are all proud of what we have here.

even at urch it is known more as testmagic forum than urch forum. It makes sense to go back to testmagic.com
