Hello!

In my application I have to 'list all senior year courses, including those anticipated in summer school'. Then there is a table: Course title, credits, semester.

So I want to ask you how should I fill 'credits' part.
For example, I have 5 math lessons every week all school year round (in both semesters). Every lesson is 45 min long. How many credits have I?

Thank you a zillion. Renata

Erin and others!

That's urgent! Sorry for bumping this post, but I have to fill this application as soon as possible. And I have no idea how to do it... Please... I guess that's the last thing I ask you to do ...

Thanks. Renata

I'm confused--usually we don't talk about "credits" in high school, only in college (the typical semester-long college course is worth three credits).

Which university is it you're applying to?

Hi! Thank you so much for your reply!

I apply to City University of New York colleges.

But three credits from math, for example, means that I have 3 hours-lenght math lectures per week. Right?
That's what I want to know.

Thanks, Renata

Generally speaking, one unit equals one hour of class per week, for semester-long classes.

Most US college classes are three units or credits, meaning students go to class for three hours per week for one semester.

Hi!! all,
I am planning to do my undergraduation in alabama. First two years in jefferson community college and the last two years i was thinking of getting my credits transferred to UAB(University of alabama at Birmingham) My i am in the US on H4 visa and my husband's project may get over within another 6 months to 1 year and we may have to move out of Alabama. If that happens will my community college credits be transfered to any other community college or University outside Alabama within usa? My husband may possibly get transferred toVirginia or Gorgia.
