hi,
I have given my Toefl ,and waiting for my final score.
can anybody explain me the whole undergraduation admission process.
what is the next step to do?
where I can do my transcript evaluation here in USA?

Should I know the 4 universities to which I can send my scores for free when finishing the exam, or I can send the scores later, after the exam ?

I think its better,if u have the list of 4 unversities with u,But if u dont have time now,then just concentrate on yr study.
according to my knowledge,I think you can send the score afterwords also.

I'm 99% sure that you cannot send your scores later for free if you don't do so at the test center--better choose some schools first!

Which part of the process are you confused about? Each school has a slightly different process. About transcript evaluations--some schools do it themselves, others require that you use a "recognized" agency.

I want to know that, now after getting my final score from TOEFL,what are the things I m suppose to do apart from transcript evaluation?
I have completed diploma in Electronics Engg in India and want to continue batchlers (BS) here in NJ ,so What kind of transcript evaluation i will need-document by document or course by course?
What all documents I will need for my admission?
I mean recommendation letters and all stuff.I dont have any idea about it?
and one more thing how to approach the colleges?
What if I want any student loan?
What about SAT,is it necessary to give SAT for undergrad courses?
I want to know all these details

The US has more than 3000 colleges and universities. Each of them has different requirements for admission. But they always declare clearly all the stuff on the website. You should not be lazy! The process is not simple at all. It will take time. I advise you to go to the websites of the colleges and universities you are considering applying to and request for more information. They will be more than happy to send you a brochure, an application form and other useful things. If you have any question, don't hesitate to ask the colleges and universities directly. THey will help you solve them all. There is no "right way" for all the colleges and universities. You must help yourself first.

Hi erdtek,

You should know the 4 universities to which you would like to send your Toefl result in order to save your money

. If you send the scores later, you will have to pay for each choice a $12 payment. Oops, not a low payment at all, right?

actually I m trying to get admission in William Paterson University,which is here near by my place.
I m waiting for my TOEFL results,so I thought till that time I will collect all the information related to admission and then go to university,with all the documents.
