Hi!

I've been reading this forum for more than a month already, and I thought that those of you who are into Business could be interested in a really cool undergraduate programe in Brussels (in English

) that is still taking in applications for sept. 2005.

I had seen a couple of adds of this college in an xpat forum in Brussels, but it was a Belgian friend of mine who eagerly recommended me this busines school because there are loads of international students, and graduates have an excellent reputation around.

Its called VLEKHO and the program is the Bachelor in Business Administration. They require highschool diploma, TOEFL or IELTS, and although there is a small application fee, once you are in, they deduct it from the tuition (which by the way is really affordable!)

I know the school and I've done a Master's there!! What a coincidence!

Are they really still taking in undergraduate admissions? The brother of a friend of mine didn't really spread his applications well and found himself rejected in the few places he did apply. He was so sure he was going to get in in this one university, and he didn't have any back-ups. This could be a great solution for him, 'cause I know he wants to get an MBA later on; this programs seems like the perfect undergrad study to prepare you for that!
If you can find out, please let me know urgently whether they are still accepting applications, so he can send in his stuff and maybe he won't have to lose a year waiting for the next round of applications!

Hello Cridamour!

Casually, I just had to phone VLEKHO today because a friend of mine from India is also interested in this BBA programe and ask me to check for him since I'm in Brussels. And if he wants to follow an MBA later, this BBA is definitely the perfect programe for him, because also my Indian friend wants to do one!

I found out that since they do rolleing admissions (

or something like that), they will keep taking applications for as soon as there is availability, but that the sooner you apply, the higher your chances to be admitted. So he can try and if he is admitted, we won't have to wait for a full year!

Thanks for sharing this with us Vi!!! I've just heard my friend's brother has been accepted into the program, he was over the moon about it! It does look like the perfect preparation for an MBA!

I am happy that your friend got in! This programe is a really good BBA and I am sure that he will be very well prepared for an MBA.

Since a couple of people have been asking me for more information about VLEKHO on my e-mail address and I don't know that much about it, I recommend to take a look at their website www.vlekho.be/bba or contact the guy who is in charge at jgutierr@vlekho.wenk.be. I spoke with him on the phone a couple of weeks ago and he was very kind answering all my questions.

I mean, I'd love to be able to give people further information about this BBA but either I forward the questions to the experts, or, quite frankly I should start charging for all the promotion i am doing to this programe
