To get admission to any one of California's fine universities, you are going to need a few things:

SAT I and SAT II scores - These tests are extremely important, if you don't take them you are going to have trouble getting into any (good) U.S. university. See The College Board for more information (dates, locations, about the tests...)

GPA - While we know your "Jordan" test score, it is important to know your overall average. Did you take any difficult courses such as the AP and IB programs?

Extracurricular Activities - What else did you do besides sitting home to study for all those exams? Did you win any award(s), etc...? These are important in showing that you have a life out of school work.

TOEFL - Already completed

It will be extremely difficult to get a scholarship since you are international, (international students tend to have higher stats than Americans) so you are really going to need to impress the adcoms in order to get a scholarship - and that may involve having to go to a lower tier university.

The University of California system does not provide a lot of money to international students and are in more times than one are going to put your ability to pay as an important factor. If you wish to apply to a private University such as Stanford or USC you will have a better chance of recieving some form of help, but still you are going to need high stats.

Having trouble with the SAT? Try the ACT

Accepted: American U., Northeastern U., Boston U., RPI, McGill (going to attend), and Penn State - University Park
