hi
i did my high school in india. and now i m in usa. i want to know thta for admission in university is the sat only main focus?? wil they consider my GPA and other activities???i got WES i.e equivalent to us education and got GPA 4.so what should b the score in SAT to get admission in RUTGERS-N.J.

almost every colleges will see your GPA, SAT, and E.Activities~~~ also if you came from India, then I think you have to take a TOEFL....

Remember, you can always take the ACT if you feel that the SAT does not truly measure your academic ability - there are a few colleges that don't accept the ACT*, however that really shouldn't affect you.

On the Old SAT, if your score was between 1200-1350 you would be fine; anything lower than that would require you to have above-average stats in other categories.

*Wake Forest does not accept the ACT; Princeton severly recommends you to take the SAT, however, if you apply to other colleges that only accept the ACT, they will let you use it.
