I am from Pakistan and wanna take admission in US. But I have a problem regarding transcript.

Every college demands an official transcript. But in Pakistani education system its impossible. Because Government's education board handle the exams of grade 9/10 & 11/12 and they issue the transcript rather then a school. Moreover, there is only copy of such transcript. The education board would issue the second copy only if I lost the first one.

Now you can understand that I can only send the photocopies.

I am totally confused now. I 'll be thankful if you people give me some advice to handle this creepy issue.

man I think u can send certified copies of orijinals.

I got it. But who would be the certifying authority.

I think its your school principle or may be a lawyer.

Hi Ehen!!
I am an International student as well and I had the same problem....well, I think that you should send "certified copies", or copies signed by an officer of your University. But first, you should contact the universities you will apply to and ask if they accept this.

Yes call the universities...

I did the same by certifying them on a public notary.
THE TOP universities might disagree with that...still check that out with the universities you want to get in!
