Hi Erin,
Thanks for your care! I am impressed by the information that website offered, but I donot believe they (that university) are trustworthy! I think, if they said the truth, there would be a lot of people taking part this program, Do you think like that, Erin? Thanks anyway for your information! Best regards, Tuong |

I was just looking a bit more at their website, and I clicked on a link for something like US News 2003 College Ratings at:
http://www.mum.edu/news/usnews.shtml They try to make it seem like their school is ranked by US News, but if you read it carefully, it is NOT. They are simply comparing their school to an average of schools from the US News data. Doesn't sound good to me... You should think about the more traditional schools, or state schools, IMO. |

Could anyone provide more information or investigation on this program being offered by the Maharishi University of Management? I have been considered for a scholarship in this university but I was offered only 92% discount from tuition and other fees. This leaves me with about $2295.00 more to pay prior to admission. During the last couple of months, I have been corresponding regularly with the Admissions Office of MUM and through all this, I couldn't find any hint that their program or the admissions process itself might be fraudulent. I have gone in and around the internet to find evidence of any irregularity and have done my own investigations but this forum, is the closest I could get to a hint that this scholarship offer may not be real, or in your words, "may not be trustworthy". I hope that I could get more information from anyone who could get in touch with this forum since $2295.00 is simply not a small amount. I will appreciate any comment whether on the affirmative or the negative side.
