Please evaluate my profile:Fall2010 MSComp Sci| gre-1360(Q-750, V-610) |TOEFL=112
Please Evalute for Fall2010 | MS | Comp Sc gre-1360(Q-750) |TOEFL | 112
GRE Quantitative: 750 GRE Verbal: 610 GRE Analytical/AWA: dunno yet, expecting 4+ TOEFL: 112 UG College: West Bengal University of Technology UG Department: Computer Science Engineering UG Grade: Overall DGPA=8.5/10 Addn. info: Consistently topped in semester exams. Highest GPA=9.65/10 Internships: 1.Wipro Technologies -3 months ( worked on a live project for their client OIL Giant SHELL- Developed a Database application using JSP, Orion ) 2.Globsyn Technologies- 1 month -project on System administration and networking. 3.Final year project- Designed a a web-based application similar to You Tube for streaming vidoes. Odd jobs- 1.Worked as a web content developer in an organization for 6 months as a paid employee ( part-time job) 2. Have been working as the Software troubleshooter for a Nursing Home since the past 3 years. Setting up their database etc. Part time job.Paid employee-still continuing. research experience- none. Would somebody please enlist a few colleges where I can get an admit for MS in Comp Sci. with or without funding. Also I want to know what are my chances of getting into UCLA. My area of interest includes( but is not restricted to)- Networking, network security, database systems and Artificial Intelligence. Your Comments would be greatly appreciated. You need to increase your GRE quant score.
UCLA might take you without funding since good schools are known to take MS CS students in large quantities and not offer them any funding. That is useless unless you have oodles of money as California non resident tuition fee is very, very expensive. You would do better to look at schools outside the top 50 and some within the range 30-50. |
