Please give some advice for me

I just did my GRE yesterday and am really disappointed. My score is V530 Q700 . I know that getting that kinda quantitative score is pretty bad for my application. Here is my brief profile

GRE - V 530 Q 700
TOEFL - 102
Undergrad - First Class Honors degree from Nanyang Technological University (No GPA system during our time)
Work experience - working for a government sector as a software engineer for 3 years.

My research interest is programming languages or compiler and I would like to pursue PhD.

Now I am lost as I screwed up my GRE score. Should I retake the GRE and apply next year? There are few schools that do not require GRE. I think they are MIT, UIUC and Purdue. Is it worth to give a try at Purdue since GRE score is not required for admission? Thanks in advance.
