Spring 2012 Vs Fall 2012..any suggestions?

Hello everyone,
I just gave the GRE. Here are my stats :
GRE - 1360 (Quant - 770 Verbal - 590)
B.E. in Comp Engg. from VIT,Pune)
78.67% (Aggregate of 8 semesters.
1 year internship project at NVIDIA,Pune. Project won the FIRST prize at IIT-Kanpur in Open Software contest.
Currently working with another leading semiconductor I.P. company in Embedded Software development.
If a apply for spring 2012, i will have 1.5 years of work ex and for fall 2012 i will have almost 2 years of work ex (not considering the internship).
I have heard that its Odd to go in spring. But at the same time ive heard that Admits are easier to get in spring. Please advice what kind of universities i should target and solve my Spring Vs Fall dilemma.

are you doing Phd or Masters? I can be odd starting an MS or Phd in the spring. some classes aren't offered in both spring and fall and the schedules are catered to students entering the program in the fall....i would keep working and saving money then start school in the fall.
