Thanx erin for tthis seperate CS section.
guys please suggest me about my chances in these univs. my profile is: currently doing undergrad in computer science engineering undergrad percentage is 80 10th: 84% 12th:89% GRE:1300(qant:800,verb:500) Toefl:250 AWA: 4.5 projects: done 3 good projects. 1) In ONGC computer science dept. 2) In DRDO defense Labs. 3) In well known IT multinational company. and also yet to do my 4th year final project. Paper presentations: 1)4 international presentations and publications.(1 IEEE,1 SPRINGER-VERLAG, 2 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF LATERAL COMPUTING). 2)3 national level presentations and publications. 3)2 national level technical fests. also I am MICROSOFT CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL MICROSOFT CERTIFIED ADMINISTRATOR MICROSOFT CERTIFIED ENGINEER MICROSOFT CERTIFIED DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR SUN CERTIFIED JAVA PROGRAMMER HTML GOLD CERTIFICATION FROM W3SCHOOLS (are these certificates are of any help in admission process?) i have also many state level accomplishments such as maths olympaid etc. and national level essay writing competitions.also have got prizes for sports.(If they are of any help). can get good recos if not star recos from my Professors and Scientists and experts i have worked under during my projects at defense labs and IT company. but my college is not very well known. Is that a disadvantage????? i have selected univs for fall 2007: 1)Purdue university 2)univ of michigan-Ann Arbor 3)unov of texas Austin 4)univ of Wisconsin-Madison OR univ of Maryland-College park(which is better?) 5)Carnegie Mellon University 6)Arizona State University 7)University of Cincinnati 8)University of California - Irvine 9)IIT-Phd program 10),11),12) please suggest some univs. please rate my chances in the above univs and also suggest some good univs for cs. awaiting your replies Thanx |
