Gpa-3.8 Gre-1250:: PLZZZ EVALUATE my CHANCES FOR MS CS(Network)

Hi guys hope ull help me in making right desicion.
I my in dire need of an aid.So plz mention whether i ll get aid or NOT
Here is my profile

branch: IT
acads(B tech) : 86% ( 1 to 6 sem ) (am a topper in 3,4,5,6 sem)
XII (state board): 95%
x th(CBSE) :85%

Gre : 1250 (Q- 780 V-470 AWA-4 )
Toefl: 277,6

Project (till now): # Inplant training
# A Mini project

Papers presented : none
not much Extra Curricular actv

Here are my list of universities (for MS CSE NETWORKS ):
1. Univ of MaryLand,College Park

i would like u guys to ans jus 2 ques?
1. " IS it extremely extremely difficult to get aid if we have no presentation/ extra curr activities ?"

2. If my list is not good ,please recommend some ACAD-CENTRIC univ?

Yes it is pretty difficult to get an aid for MS thes days...but once u get into a univ u can always make it up with p/t jobs on campus..if u maintain a good gpa u may even get a tuition fee waiver..mail the profs of the univs ..tell them ur intersted in their research work..if they find u good enuf,u may get an assistanship even b4 u land in the US of A ..

univ (WITHIN TOP 20) which u think i can give a shot at.
