Well according to me the arrears wld b decling factor to your application. I dunno whether it wld be 12 or 37 but even 12 Reappear would be as harmful as 37.
Well if you analyse the job senario in US now a days, you can figure out that if you are looking for a job after your MS (which I beleive, u wld be), then do it from a known school. If your AIM is to get to US and work there, I ll advice you to work for a year or two and then apply to MS (MBA after 2 years!! naah).. Again studing is Australia is a lot easier then it is to USA but the quality of education in USA is way ahead of Australia (correct me if I m wrong here!!) Regarding job after MS, as I said, its easier in other countries..... Bottomline..... If you have a job in hand, grab it and gain a bit of experience, if you are desperate of going abroad straight after B.Tech, then mayb Australia wld be a easier option and if it has to be America then mayb wait for an year atleast, thts wht I wld say.. Since you would have an year in hand, you cld prepare for Sub GRE which cn favor you an admit!! Hope it helps.. But the views are entirely mine and mayb you as well as others may find it a bit odd... simba |

Well I would say there is always space on the top, if you are good in your skills then u ll get a job whetherever u want be it US or UK or nywhere else.
In top schools mayb u would have u struggle a bit less as u may get it thru campus placement. Hmm regarding working in India after MS in US! I dunno whether this would be ny1 1st prefrence after spending too much on his/her education, mayb the student would like to work for a little while in US for some return of the investment! |

Thanks for that
1. Simba, wht i asked was "suppose i dont get a job in US & i am compelled to return to India, will the Indian IT companies regard my MS stint as a worthy one or not ." I heard from my friend tat studying & returning from US is considered a 'waste of time' by indian companies. 2.Any idea about aid scenario in top 30 schools? 3.Is univ of CINCINATTI a good one (for CS) ? I think its one of few univ which provides full fee waiver for intl students BEFORE start. Do u know any other good univ which does the same? and I need aid for sure.\ Thanks |
