University of Southern California University of California - San Diego Northwestern University University of California - Santa Barbara these are really gr8 univs....@poster above i hope by "you should apply to better univs" u meant a replacement for some of the last 5-6 univs in his list like UCF, Wichita, IIT-C etc |

nice list but even I wud agree with others ... finding replacements for IIT,Wayne State, etc. may be gud for u (regarding Indiana Univ --> a senior who had gone there said it wud be OK for an MS but better avoid going there for PhD ... a university like Oregon State may be better to do ur PhD ) ... i was curious abt RPI ... how's the CS Dept (e.g. ranking, reputation, placements, etc.)

Thank you all very much for your advices.
The only thing i'm a bit concerned is that I didn’t do Data Structure back then (it was not offered, i didnt know why). Would it be a serious flaw in my application? Thanks again. |
