plz rank the following univs in their CS dept
Hi,
I m a Spring '08 MS aspirant.It would be of gr8 help to me if someone ranks the following univ in their CS dept(considering funding,placements etc). Cornell University Columbia University Brown university (RI) University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill Duke University University of Southern California John Hopkins University New York University Rutgers, State Univ of NJ, New Brunswick SUNY- Stony Brook University of Chicago University of Colorado –Boulder Arizona State University University of Arizona Iowa State University Washington University St Louis North Carolina State University University of Florida; Gainesville Virginia poly Tech Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (NY) Texas A & M College Station Michigan State University University of Delaware I m aiming only for the top 50 colleges(top 40 to be precise).My major would be Networks(Wireless Networks,Mobile Computing etc).....So plz do suggest me some univs(only the top50 ones) apart from the above specified if they have got gud research goin on in Networks and have Spring intake. HI,
Thanks for the links. Plz help me with this too. I m planning for Spring bcoz i feel that even though a small number of univs invite spring applications, the competition would be less when compared to that of Fall.Am i wrong ? |

And from what I have read at TestMagic, it is easier to get funding if you apply during the Fall semester.

Hi,
Thanks for the replies. I m not really that bothered abt funding.I just wanted to get into a decent university(<40s).Just wanted to know if a person with an avg(~) profile like me will have a better chance of getting into a better univ when applied for spring than for fall.... Thanks. |
