Please guide me on my score

Hi,
This is my profile. Please evaluate it & advice me:

GRE - 990
Q- 610, V-380, AWA - AWAITED
BE(CS) - 76 %
Work Expereience - 1 year - S/w Company
No publication.

I like to know whether with this low GRE mark can i apply for any university. My work is very hectic that i will not be in a position to take up GRE again...
So can i go ahead with TOEFL & then start applying.
How about appying to colleges that do not require GRE??
Im also a bit confused whether this low mark will be accepted in any university in US as i observed most of the universities(CS dept) are looking for 1100+ mark in GRE.
Would certainly appreciate if someone can guide me at this critical juncture.

Hey,
You might have to take GRE again. Especially you will need score in quantative section around 750. Universities ranked in top 50 are swamped with applicants having high GRE scores especially in Quant.
You have a good percentage if you are intrested you can get into a very good university in Europe or East Asia(Japan etc. especially if you are intrested in AI or robotics)
Good luck.

Hey,
Are you a candidate for MS or PhD?
Yes, you can get into low ranked (decent--I assume you meant those ranked 50-100) US university. But again I will say that if you execute your application properly you can get into fine European schools without GRE.
Thanks

Hey ,

Thanks once again !!!

Iam a candidate for MS(CS). My brother is in US. So thats why iam concentrating only on US universities.
Now that my marks are low iam looking for colleges like old domininon university which admits students with low marks.

Eventhough im 10 points short of universities which have a cut-off of 1000, will it make sense for me to apply to such colleges(whose cut-off marks are 1000& above). Also would be very helpful if u can suggest any decent colege(rank 50 to 100) that generally accepts students with my marks.

Thank you !!!!

Hey,
You can try for University of San Jose (california)....university of Rhode Island.
You can take a look at detailed US News rankings.

Best of luck.
