v - 640 q - 760 - awa - expected around 4

Plz evaluate my chances in these univs
1. GaTech
2. USC
3.Virginia tech
4.Penn state univ
5.Ncsu
6.Ohio state univ
7.ufl

will have 3 yrs of work experience and 6 months internship experience.
of which 6 mths intern + 1 year in Verizon,chennai(a fortune 12 cmpy)
No paper presentation or such

My work experience is in software programming and there wasnt much of telecom in Vz.
Does work experience counts?

You have a good chance at all these schools. Write a good SOP and get good LORs. I will suggest that you aim a little higher.Good luck.

Hi raza, can you tell me some higher univs where i have som chance...
i evaluated some univs

Tamu - but iit centric so hard
ut austin - they need a great profile and without any publications and not being in the top in acads i feel it is hard..
what about ucla and umd cp.

suggest me some ambitious univs that wld be feasible with my profile

You can take a look at US News rankings.It will give you an idea.
Btw you are going for MS or PhD?
