Please Review my profile

From South Asian uni, not familiar to Occident.

cgpa: 3.75 < x < 3.8
GRE: verbal 560, Quant 800, awa - expecting 4.5
1 conference publication.

Given that, toefl conforms the requirements, sop and lor are typical to moderate, what should be my strategy on choosing 6 unis from a separate pools (say, following cs ranking 2006) of top schools (1-20), mid schools (21-40), low schools (41-60).

What can be the impact if a subject gre with 80% is added to them?

And, can you suggest one likely list of them?

Hey,
Choose 2 schools from each pool.
You have a very decent CGPA, good GRE scores. But NEVER underestimate the importance of LORs and SOP. If you go in with strong SOP/LORS top 10 can be added to your list. It will also push up the rankings of your saftey schools.
GRE subject will be a big plus.
Provided that you get strong SOP/LORs, add GRE Subject you can have three pools as 1-15(2 univ), 16-30(2 univ) and 30-40(2 -univ) thus with your safety schools you are still in first tier.

The certain fear is blundering in subj gre. Some says, just sitting for it is enough, where it is required. Is it so? My feelings/fear is that, getting low in gre cs would work negatively. What do you think. By the way, thanks raza5680 for you thoughtful comment.
