Unless there is a financial offer from the other two, I would definitely go to UIUC.

CalmLogic 's dreams are becoming reality.
I agree 100% with MDK. What seals the deal for me is the tuition costs relative to the ranking in US News:

UIUC: $ 24,644 (not much different than GA Tech in tuition costs)
GA Tech: $ 22,188 [update: This information may be wrong but was from USNews.]
Brown: $ 35,584 (no way!)

So UIUC would be a no-brainer for me.

Gatech asks for $59,000 in their I-20 for MS Computer Science. Is it that expensive? I thought Gatech would be relatively less expensive than some of the IVY-League.

your amounts for Gatech is wrong. For CS @ MS level the new tuition is $38K. Thats what it says on my offer letter.

Expensive then Brown, it seems.

Gatech has increased their I20 amount rapidly in the past few years. But I don't think you are going to spend 60k per year. 40k will be more than enough for you.

The amount on I-20 shows $58,355 and the website on gatech says this:

We have received the I20 estimates and they are as follows: For CS, $58,372. For INFS, $40,154. The difference is that INFS is considered a 9 month program, where CS is a 12 month program. If you will have dependents, you should add $300/month for your spouse and $200/month for each child. If you will have an out of state waiver, your amount is $29,998. The breakdown for the 58372 is as follows: Tuition and fees $38994, Living Costs $17874, and Books and Supplies $1504.

It clearly says that the tuition is $38,994, then what makes you think it wont be $60k but somewhere around $40k.

I was under the impression that it would be in the range of $45k as well.

As I remember, Gatech calculates a summer semester in the I20 form, but you are not going to take summer courses, instead you are going to have internship somewhere. If the memory didn't betray me, I think the credit hour was around 1000-1300 . In addition, the living expenses are calculated based on on campus housing and meals.
Moreover, USNews estimates the tuition fees around 20k and the living expenses as 10k. So, join Gatech without any hesitation.
