Trying to make mom and pop proud

hard to make a choice
got admissions from following schools:
cmu, master of info sys management, no fund emory, master of cs, 75%tw columbia, master of cs, no fund gatech, master of cs, no fund syracuse, master of cs, 50% tw iub, master of cs, no fund Can you give me some advice? Currently I am thinkin of the first two. However, the cmu one is somewhat pricey and i am not sure the money can return...On Emory, its computer science program is not very strong... I myself want to enter IT industry rather than the academic field after graduation. So....Any suggestion? Tossing and turning.... |

Yeah, I certainly would rather go to GA Tech for an MS than CMU for a professional degree. And there is always the hope of getting a TA/GA/RA position.

I will say take emory out of the scene and consider between Gatech and Cmu. My personal order of preference amongst these would be -
1. Gatech 2. CMU 3. Columbia 4. Emory Dont give aid so much importance that you are thinking of dropping the first two choices only to go ahead with a TA/RA at a significantly lower ranked university. |
