IUB cs ms VS VT cs ms

what's the better school you think??

both located similar position in us rank.

should I choose VT for its engineering reputation??

or IUB for overall reputation??

I'd like to find a job in engineering field after only ms degree, not ph.d.

plz help me!

You should select depending on your research interests. If there is a dedicated group that is working 247 on topics you like, then it's better than going to another university that only has a single faculty who is partially interested in the subject.

CalmLogic 's dreams are becoming reality.
Simiarly, look at the number of courses they are offering related to your interests. At any school I am interested in, I spend a long time getting to know which courses are offered, reading the online syllabi, and even reading reviews of the professors: RateMyProfessors.com

Even with more general interests like software engineering, some CS departments will offer more courses than others. This can be relevant to recruiting since students will sometimes list courses they took on their resume.
