SUNY SB vs UC Irvine
Hi guys,
I have an MS CS admit from both SUNY Stony Brook and UC Irvine. SUNY has lower tuition and living costs but UC Irvine is slightly better ranked. Also, since Irvine is in California, tech jobs are plenty. I'm interested in OS/ Distributed OS. I'm in a great dilemma , please advise! |

Thanks for your reply MDK. One more thing is about the area of specialization. Do you know which one is better for Systems in general?

Even if just a few grads get those kindof packages, it's still a very good sign. (Of course, in some places 90k may be like 70k or less due to cost of living.)
