Please evaluate my profile for PhD in CS (computer architecture)

Hi,
I have a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from a not-so-prestigious college, and the following sums up my profile.

Acad: B.Tech with Honors (75.5%) - GPA system not used in our university

GRE: 740Q + 680V = 1420
AWA: 4.5
TOEFL: yet to be taken

Work Experience:
2.5 years with Texas Instruments. Worked in related domain, with experience in multiprocessor systems like OMAP, variety of fixed and floating point DSP processors (C64x, C67x, C54x, C55x) and their assembly languages, pipelines etc. Also expertise with system level debugging tools like logical analyzers, oscilloscopes and such. Experience working with Linux kernel, bootloaders and device drivers.

Total experience is around 3.5 years.

Recommendation Letters:
1. HOD and professor for paper on microprocessor (PhD from University of Houston).
2. Scientist from Indian Space Research Organization (academic project was done under the same).
3. Manager from Texas Instruments.

That more or less is all I have got.

The universities I have interest in are:

1. Univ of Michigan, AA
2. GeorgiaTech
3. UCLA
4. UCSB
5. Univ of Southern California
6. Pennsylvania State University
7. Purdue University
8. University of Texas, Dallas
9. NCSU
10. University of Washington.

Kindly suggest me which all universities are approachable with this profile of mine?

Thanks a lot in advance.
Pennsylvania State University

CalmLogic 's dreams are becoming reality.
Since the reputation of your school doesn't stand out, you may want to consider either submitting a/nother paper to an international conference or taking the GRECS. I only say this since you are aiming for a number of highly selective schools like UW and Purdue. Also, your quantitative GRE score seems to be below average for such schools, so retaking the GRE may not be a bad idea, especially for bigger departments like Michigan. (The TM poster named Modeler got into UMich partly due to his GRE score [V 710 Q 800]: http://www.urch.com/forums/computer-...s-learned.html (Lessons Learned) )
