    Well, you already did!

Welcome, Hinda, to the best place on the web for test prep.

Many people like you, including myself, have benefited a lot from this web site. Since you are a beginner, atleast in this discussion forum, let me tell you what you can do here ...

Apart from the excellent tips, exercises and sample essays by Erin, you can also look at the essays that many of the members keep posting in the TOEFL section. When you practice writing your own essays, you can post them here and get almost instant feedback from other test takers, and also from the Master, Erin.

When you are just beginning your test prep, you obviously have a lot of doubts. Almost everybody does. And It's quite possible that somebody has raised a similar issue on these forums, sometime back. So, you can search through the archived posts, where you may find your queries already answered. If you can't find what you are looking for, You can always post on the forum, and every member of TM will be happy to help you out.

Regarding the question of which books to follow, I personally found CLIFF's TOEFL guide to be the best for the Structure section. All other sections are also equally good. But you can practice the RCs and Listening from any and all books that you can get. As Erin says, ARCO's book is no good. And coming to CBTs, you might already know that POWERPREP is a MUST and if you can find KAPLAN or Cambridge, they also help to some extent.

As you work through various tests or exercises (in any books that you follow), you will definitely have some doubts. Just make sure that you post your queries under the appropriate categories (sections in the forum).

And When you feel like, you can participate in the Community Discussions, and Fun Stuff sections of this forum. So, there's almost everything right here.

Fasten your seat belts, and enjoy the ride !!!

All the best to you, Hinda!
