Please explain to me

I have a quesion that I really don't understand.Actually,it's my test 2 weeks ago,and my teacher ( at class) just gave back the result.I got 8 on the scale 10,and I don't know why. The quetion is to ues the suggested words to make sentences 1) I/do not/think/ good method/ learn/ by heart -> I don't think it's a good method to learn by heart ( this is the way I did),and my teacher gave the answer: I don't think it a good method to learn by heart .I think the way I did is true,maybe my teacher gave another answer?Please explain to me. The same with this: 2)He/believe/more difficult/speak/ foreign language/read it ->He believes that it's more difficult to speak a foreign language than to read it( I did this way), and here is my teacher's : He believes it more difficult to speak a foreign language than to read it. I guess both ways are right,but even if I am wrong,please tell me why? I would appriciate your help.

I am not an expert on grammar per say, but it seems like your statement is correct and your teacher is wrong. Now it is possible that, your teacher was correct grammar wise, but in reality it is wrong because it is not used in such a way. I have seen this when a language was translated with the correct grammar, but the over all message is incorrect or does not make sense.
