<font color="#000000">(C) could not have found</font><br />
<font color="#000000">(D) would not have been found</font></div> <br />
<div align="left"><font color="#000000"><font face="Verdana">This is a grammar exercise. I went with 'A' because I thought it's not the subjunctive mood, but rather the indicative one. Why did I thought like that? Among the examples, there would be the forms 'would~', 'could~', etc, if it's the subjunctive mood, but there are no examples like this. However, <a href='#' target="_BLANK" class='gal' onmouseover='GAL_popup(this,"1", 300, "", "\"oa\" usually means \"official answer,\" i.e., the supposedly correct answer. But please remember that the \"OA\" is not always correct; the answer given by the writer of the question is not always the best answer in \"testland\".", "style=\"display: block;padding: 5px;z-index: 100;background-color: #323232;color: #fff;filter:alpha(opacity=90); /* for IE */opacity:0.9; /* CSS3 standard */width:auto;-moz-border-radius: 5px; /* this works only in camino/firefox */-webkit-border-radius: 5px; /* this is just for Safari */\"");' onmouseout='GAL_hidepopup();' style="text-decoration: none; border-bottom-style:dashed; border-bottom-width: 1px"> OA</a> was 'C', but I can't accept it. What do you think of this?</font></font></div></div>
