Not able to send PM

Hello,

I am not able to take advantage of sending private messages, it shows as you limit is full. Then I deleted almost 50% msg from my msg list. but still i m facing same error. Please guide me abt this.

Hi Erin I am relatively new to this forum and I register here few months back but and was able to send private messages but now when I am trying to send PM, I get error as limit is full. After that I deleted almost 50% of PMs but facing same prob. Please guide me.

Did you delete the messages in your Sent folder? http://www.urch.com/forums/private.php?folderid=-1

I deleted most of the messages in sent folder and also deleted messages from Inbox but don't know why I am facing this problem. Would appreciate your help.

What's the total number of messages you have in the PM system? If I recall correctly, you're limited to seven messages total.

oh .. I can store only 7 messages in my PM folder. then I exceeded quta as I hv 12 messages stored. Is ther any way to increase this limit?

If you meet these conditions:

• Have made 30 posts or more
• Have been a member for 30 days or more
• Have no negative reputation

Then you get 'promoted' to the next level. At this level, you can have up to 25 PMs.

I need to keep the PM limit low for new members to limit the impact spammers can gave on our forum.
